MTC is listening are you talking

What is your opinion about MTC? The question shall ignite rage and bring down a rain of swear words. MTC went on strike, yes; their conductors never gives change, tell me about it; drivers are agents of Yama, of course. But do you know MTC is striving hard to replicate a corporate working environment! I realized this on a fateful day which crunched my backbone as I stood in mouse-foot space, a sticker grabbed my attention it had feedback details of MTC.
I took out my smart phone and started drafting a mail to that id, knowing I won't get any response. As I pressed send I received an automated reply, I saw light but weeks passed without actual response hope died with memory. A week back I got a neatly written reply mail from them, voila! This is MTC telling that necessary action will be taken to operate the bus as planned.

Continuous AC buses a crush to needy

Dear Sir/Madam

I'm Shiva hari Kumar, working in an IT firm in ELNET city near Tidel park and I reside in Chromepet. I believe in greener India and I take pride in using public transport system even when I can afford 2 Wheeler petrol needs for the commute.
I leave office between 7pm-8pm which is also the peak hour. For one full week I observed that in that time period 4 AC buses- route 91 is operated from Thiruvanmiyur, in that time no express bus runs connecting Tidel and Chromepet and those who can't afford it(including me) are forced to wait and take next disastrously crowded bus, young men prefer to hang themselves in steps.
Please avoid accidents waiting to happen, shuffle different services like AC, EXPRESS, DELUXE in optimal fashion. I write this in best hope that MTC values life of passenger against revenue.

 For your reference the ordinary and A/C bus timings are given below.

From Thiruvanmiyur:

        A/C Volvo buses: 7.00, 7.20, 7.40, 7.50, 8.00, 8.10, 8.20, 8.40, 9.00

       Ordinary buses: 7.02,7.15,7.20,7.30,7.42,8.00,8.10,8.22,8.25,8.40,8.45,8.50,9.02.

However necessary action will be taken to operate the buses in the scheduled time.

Up and Close with Sudalai Madan: The Encounter

Night of 13th April all the preparations for the rituals were done in the temple, Sudalaimadan swamy was decorated with flowers, fruits and coconuts; the dedications reached above his chest. My cousin Sudalai Muthu, senior priest of the shrine reached home by late-night got blessings of his father Late Shanmugam Sundaram also previous head priest and blessed the family members in room dedicated for God, then started towards the temple. People have already gathered in huge numbers and were waiting for the Sudalaimada Swamy's arrival at Temple. Different rituals were offered by people to the Lord in order to get the blessings. Up and Close with Sudalai Madan: Warm up

Hollywood is just a movie industry for most people, but for some like me, it is the inspiration and life guide. I have watched many movies from all genres - action, thriller, comedy, drama, romance, but what I loved is a controversial subjects.  Mikael Håfström's 1408 was in my mind, when I travelled down south to my native for the holy annual festival, 'Sudalaimada Swamy Kodai'. why do people sweat more in chennai???

One of the famous ornament of chennai is its summer!. Everyone here would have at least once talked about its effect and the way they affected. People comes out with sweats flowing from the body is the usual scene of chennai noon. The sweat produced is not just due to the temperature of the region. It is in fact due to the high humidity of chennai. To explain this lets see a fact, people in chennai sweats more than the people in delhi where the temperature is higher than the former. This is because of chennai's location. Chennai is located near sea due to which sea water evaporation is high during summer which in turn increases the humidity (Amount of water vapour present in air). Normally human blood temperature is about 35 deg Celsius. If the outside temperature is more than that, then our system tries to automatically cools down by releasing sweat from the body. Acid rain in Chennai

Don't panic it is not literal acid but a metaphorical one. Probably Poes Garden, maybe Gopalapuram I can't imagine any other area in Chennai to be drained. So why is this? every time? we pray for rain and when it comes we are always unprepared, even for moderate showers our roads are flooded. Is it because Chennai is an old city and its infrastructure not enough for information age or is that because of the vote bank politics? By now you'd have guessed what I quoted as 'Acid rain', it is that one created by the broadcasting network. Nowadays every political party is having its own network, you do the math and imagine the amount of 'Angel and Demon' perspective we are exposed to.
