What is Makara Jyothi and Makara Vilaku

Makara Jyothi is the "Uthram" star worshiped by the pilgrims. The main worshipping rituals are performed at the day of Makara Sankaranthi (every 14 January) day. It draws the second largest number of pilgrims in the country. The devotees believe that witnessing the light brings them good luck and divine blessings.

Makara Vilaku is the fire lit of top of the Ponambala Medu by Travancore Devaswom board, ealier it is believe wrongly that this is Jyothi and it comes all by itself(by the power of Lord Ayyappa). It is also said that Makara Vilaku is lit by Tribals on Ponambala Medu as a tribute/worship to Lord ayyappa, even today Travancore Devaswom board has to do it with the help of tribals

Up and Close with Sudalai Madan: The Encounter

Night of 13th April all the preparations for the rituals were done in the temple, Sudalaimadan swamy was decorated with flowers, fruits and coconuts; the dedications reached above his chest. My cousin Sudalai Muthu, senior priest of the shrine reached home by late-night got blessings of his father Late Shanmugam Sundaram also previous head priest and blessed the family members in room dedicated for God, then started towards the temple. People have already gathered in huge numbers and were waiting for the Sudalaimada Swamy's arrival at Temple. Different rituals were offered by people to the Lord in order to get the blessings. As it is believed Sudaimada Swamy, the son of Lord Siva used to consume meat in Kailash for this reason he is sent to earth, where he can satisfy his earthy hunger thereby not polluting Kailash. Love is an overrated emotion

Nothing here is a fact, this is only opinion, no just rant of a young adult idiot. Turn around now, if you don't like rant or profanity or profanity-laced rant. When I say love, I strictly mean the romantic form of it; and I hate that I even have to say that, why do people have to add love to everything? parental love, baby love, candy love and so on... that's just plain stupid. Love is problematic not just because some people use it to manipulate others, but because it is a powerful emotion. So how it is problematic for everyone if only some use it to manipulate, the rest plain minded people will be bound by a strong feeling for each other, isn't it good? No, because even though love is strong emotion it starts to wear down after the purpose is fullfiled, and that brings me to the purpose of love. Purpose of love is to pro-create, you can decorate it, put a shiny gown, powder it with glitters, but the truth remains the same, love exists so that we don't become extinct....

Wings of Fire

Though tagged under review I’m going to try and bring the essence of the book, in no means I have the guts to write a review on a book that’s written on/by Dr APJ Adbul Kalam. Unlike regular biographies the book is filled with information and facts on Indian Space research straight from Dr Kalam’s diary, has very limited information on his personal life. From Preface of the book, we can understand Mr Arun Tiwari co-author of this book had brought up this idea to write a book and put it work. The book is organized in seven sections but the core content is put inside 4 sections – Orientation, Creation, Propitiation, and Contemplation. While the rest cover how and why this book formed and what it intends to convey. Dr Kalam being a spiritual person has quoted poems and lines from the Quran throughout the book. The Oath of the Vayuputras – Debacles

Shiva Trilogy – Tells all the mythologies we already know and poorly explains way that all are humans – what else can you expect from an atheist. Yes Amish Tripathi as we know is not a spiritual guy, he was an atheist but grew faith as he wrote book – an absolute marketing stunt. Thus Lord Shiva smokes marijuana/chillum/meth/ganja or in whichever term you want to identify tobacco. Poor Millennial crowd caught the least message drew tattoo and smoked marijuana.
