Sanatorium - MEPZ foot over to get escallator


On the GST road, Chennai if you can make a list of  busiest junctions with separate/safe path for pedestrians MEPZ junction would top it. And so to safe people from madly crossing drivers who has no driving sense or time traffic rules authorities have came up with a foot-over. The construction is happening at lighting speed that we can except it to be fully complete in couple of weeks.



The key attribute to this foot-over will be the escalators that are going to accompany ordinary and spiral stairs. The whole construction is giving a face lift to the corridor which is otherwise bored with traffic.



Here are the two photos of escalators, both of them should be taking the people from ground to top as descending is always considered easier than climbing.

Up and Close with Sudalai Madan: The Encounter

Night of 13th April all the preparations for the rituals were done in the temple, Sudalaimadan swamy was decorated with flowers, fruits and coconuts; the dedications reached above his chest. My cousin Sudalai Muthu, senior priest of the shrine reached home by late-night got blessings of his father Late Shanmugam Sundaram also previous head priest and blessed the family members in room dedicated for God, then started towards the temple. People have already gathered in huge numbers and were waiting for the Sudalaimada Swamy's arrival at Temple. Different rituals were offered by people to the Lord in order to get the blessings. As it is believed Sudaimada Swamy, the son of Lord Siva used to consume meat in Kailash for this reason he is sent to earth, where he can satisfy his earthy hunger thereby not polluting Kailash. Love is an overrated emotion

Nothing here is a fact, this is only opinion, no just rant of a young adult idiot. Turn around now, if you don't like rant or profanity or profanity-laced rant. When I say love, I strictly mean the romantic form of it; and I hate that I even have to say that, why do people have to add love to everything? parental love, baby love, candy love and so on... that's just plain stupid. Love is problematic not just because some people use it to manipulate others, but because it is a powerful emotion. So how it is problematic for everyone if only some use it to manipulate, the rest plain minded people will be bound by a strong feeling for each other, isn't it good? No, because even though love is strong emotion it starts to wear down after the purpose is fullfiled, and that brings me to the purpose of love. Purpose of love is to pro-create, you can decorate it, put a shiny gown, powder it with glitters, but the truth remains the same, love exists so that we don't become extinct....

Though tagged under review I’m going to try and bring the essence of the book, in no means I have the guts to write a review on a book that’s written on/by Dr APJ Adbul Kalam. Unlike regular biographies the book is filled with information and facts on Indian Space research straight from Dr Kalam’s diary, has very limited information on his personal life. From Preface of the book, we can understand Mr Arun Tiwari co-author of this book had brought up this idea to write a book and put it work. The book is organized in seven sections but the core content is put inside 4 sections – Orientation, Creation, Propitiation, and Contemplation. Up and Close with Sudalai Madan: Warm up

Hollywood is just a movie industry for most people, but for some like me, it is the inspiration and life guide. I have watched many movies from all genres - action, thriller, comedy, drama, romance, but what I loved is a controversial subjects.  Mikael Håfström's 1408 was in my mind, when I travelled down south to my native for the holy annual festival, 'Sudalaimada Swamy Kodai'.
