Puththu kovilum Putho tilesum, as they are built

Its the grand Aadi season here in Tamil Nadu wherever you go you'd be followed by awful noise from no mercy speakers masqueraded as a devotional song. Yes, this is the first post dedicated to it. Hindu is not a religion but it's idealism, a way to unite people, that's perfectly constructed by assuming separate task to every God, no single God worship. Hindus moved from nature worship to idol worship, but that doesn't mean that we don't have nature worship we have created an idol for them and continued to worship them in a different form.

 Snake is a beautiful reptile, I have made friend with few too... Our ancestor found the natural law, 'every living creature on earth is important for the ecosystem to be balanced'. Maybe to make sure snakes are not killed fearing their venom they made them as God too! Not just idol snakes, they are worshipped as they are at their conquered(from rats and termite) nest or puthu.

Let us not concentrate if snake drinks milk or broken raw egg, but we have to understand the fact that neither snakes builts a towering puthu. The milk is meant for true builders of the puthu - 'Termite'. These puthu as its worshipped decades ago without the new idea of renovating was a true resident for both termite and snake. While rain collapses it, they are re-built around shrubs and plants, giving enough space for snakes to hide for prey.

But when single god worship started spreading like never before, Hindus started believing that they are also a religion which sadly made them re-structure every temple which was actually meant for cultural & architectural importance, social gathering, eco-system balancing, treasure chest and governing.

The temple you see to the right of this text is close to my home, awesome place to visit; waterbody in the background is Nanmangalam yeri. I have hyperlinked Google map try to visit, its a nice place to spend an evening.

 Puthu kovil is no exception to re-structuring process, now it is getting the cement touch; leaving no space for the termite to built or snake to slither. And guess the result puthu is getting low on height every day... now people blame each other for not being pure 😝 lame! Then to make the gods happy as they put it they have crazy aadi festival. And guess how the fund is generated? yes, its flows from our pocket and returns to us as noise in ears and punch in the face when you deter to change this flawed process.

Acid rain in Chennai

Don't panic it is not literal acid but a metaphorical one. Probably Poes Garden, maybe Gopalapuram I can't imagine any other area in Chennai to be drained. So why is this? every time? we pray for rain and when it comes we are always unprepared, even for moderate showers our roads are flooded. Is it because Chennai is an old city and its infrastructure not enough for information age or is that because of the vote bank politics? By now you'd have guessed what I quoted as 'Acid rain', it is that one created by the broadcasting network. Nowadays every political party is having its own network, you do the math and imagine the amount of 'Angel and Demon' perspective we are exposed to. From every network that is with the ruling party, we are shown the 'Angel face' emergency number, disaster recovery team, ambulance gushing thru flood, evacuation and so on. why do people sweat more in chennai???

One of the famous ornament of chennai is its summer!. Everyone here would have at least once talked about its effect and the way they affected. People comes out with sweats flowing from the body is the usual scene of chennai noon. The sweat produced is not just due to the temperature of the region. It is in fact due to the high humidity of chennai. To explain this lets see a fact, people in chennai sweats more than the people in delhi where the temperature is higher than the former. This is because of chennai's location. Chennai is located near sea due to which sea water evaporation is high during summer which in turn increases the humidity (Amount of water vapour present in air). RJ Balaji in as Vadacurry

Vadacurry is a perfect entertainment package – comedy, a romantic song, an item number, punch, villian, hero, noble cause – as we know, it is a masala movie. Movie revolves around lead male played by Jai and his immediate needs – getting Smart phone, the way he chooses to fullfill his need brings the neccesarily components to push the movie into vibration mode Director Saravana Rajan’s made the movie lighter enough to remove any sort of thrill from the movie, a team which has wide range of experience in providing laughter made this comedy-thriller into comdey-drama. The movie starts with RJ Balaji saying “my name is vadacurry, but I don’t have much to do here (ref. movie is titled as Vadacurry)”.
